Colorado State University HIBIDA D1 Fort Collins Men's Ultimate Frisbee Team
About
Founded in 1973 as the Grateful Disc Club, “Hibida” is the men’s ultimate team at Colorado State University.
With a roster of over 60 players, an A team and a B team, six coaches, and a dedicated leadership team, We has become a staple of the College ultimate scene.
The club usually practices 3 times a week and travels between 4 and 6 times per year along with participating in two home tournaments on the CSU IM fields.
Fall Semester
We start the fall by hosting tryouts on the IMs. After the A and B teams are made, the rest of the fall is for building up connections between teammates and learning new concepts! Practices are usually 3-4 times a week on the IMs.
Winter Break
Winter break is our players chance to take a break and to get their bodies feeling right. We spend most of the winter training to gear up for the spring semester. Individual work is highly encouraged during this time, and practices and meetings are
Spring Semester
The spring is the most important time for our club. We usually travel out of state 3-4 times a year for competitive tournaments. The spring culminates in the post-season where we compete at sectional, regional and national tournaments
